Today, May 1st, Laserfiche announces the End-of-Life for the Laserfiche Integration with SIGNiX. The last day to order the Laserfiche Integration with SIGNiX is November 1st, 2019. Customers with active LSAP will continue to receive support as outlined in the table below.

In one year, on May 1st 2020, Laserfiche will end software maintenance of the Laserfiche Integration with SIGNiX and Limited Technical Support will begin. If you choose to remain on LSAP, we will continue to support the integration to the best of our abilities, but no new hotfixes or updates will be developed. In two years, on May 1st, 2021, Laserfiche will end the Limited Technical Support. No support services will be offered for The Laserfiche Integration with SIGNiX after this date, marking the End-of-life.

Product Migration Options

The Laserfiche Integration with SIGNiX allowed for documents in the Laserfiche web client to be sent out for signature through the SIGNiX digital signature cloud service. The signed document would then return as a new version of the original version.

Migration Details

We encourage you to consult with your Laserfiche Solution Provider to map out the smooth transition. If you prefer to continue to use SIGNiX for digital signatures, you may want to consider transitioning to the integration built by Laserfiche PDP partner CDI.

The CDI Laserfiche integration for SIGNiX® with workflow activities provides organizations an easy way to sign and send documents automatically for signature. Users are able to open documents from Laserfiche®, place recipient specific tags (such as signature/ initial boxes) in documents and email them out. Recipients will be notified of the signature requirements via email - and once the document is signed and emailed back, both sent and signed documents will then automatically be archived in Laserfiche®, with appropriate metadata applied.

If you are considering migrating onto a new digital signature platform, may want to consider using either of the Laserfiche integrated options: OneSpan or DocuSign.

Customers with current LSAP will be given credit towards a purchase of additional Laserfiche product such as Laserfiche Full Named Users. Credit will not apply to non-Laserfiche products, such as CDi’s SIGNiX Integration. An exception will allow downgrades in total LSAP, in the case that you want to drop LSAP of the discontinued product without purchasing additional product.
