JavaScript to Convert a Forms 'Time' field from 12 hour to 24 hour Format

asked on April 25, 2019

We have a customer that is using a Form where the time is calculated upon submission but they would like it in 24 hour format instead of 12. Anyone know how to accomplish this with JavaScript?

What time are you referring to? Can you send a screenshot? It might be possible to accomplish the conversion without JS, depending on exactly what you're trying to do.

Actually I think I might be good. For me when using the format in the Time field as HH:mm:ss it appears to be using 24 hour format. The customer stated it does not for them but I think they may just be mistaken. I will need to follow up with them. Thanks for the quick response and sorry for the confusion!

That's correct, HH:mm:ss and H:mm:ss are both 24-hour formats.
