Came into work today with users complaining of getting an " Unable to connect to Laserfiche Server" error code. Determined that the services had stopped all of a sudden, so we restarted it and voila! instant access. My question is, other than, the event viewer what other tools can we use to research what caused the services to stop all of a sudden

I think the Event Viewer is going to be the most useful tool

The event log would be the best place to start. Laserfiche>Content repsoitory> Service> Were the servers rebooted over the weekend? If so, some of the services may have not started up quick enough and didn't turn on. To ensure the services are online every day, you could add a Windows Task Scheduler to restart the LF service every day. I listed a combo of different arguments you can add to make the service stop/start every day. If the service is already stopped, it will still run the stop argument and then move on to the start parameter. I have attached a screenshot of two different ways you can set this up via the service name or the process id argument.
