Is it Possible to Ban File Types from being Imported?

I'm thinking .pst files for our use case (large, unmanageable, poor archival format, etc.)

No, there currently isn't any technical way of blocking import of certain extensions.  It would be possible to use Workflow to monitor what comes in, but that's more reactive.

Thanks Brian, I guess in this case I can just do a search for those record types every now and again to get rid of them.
