I've done the research on answers, and found that the workflow activities only support on-prem Sharepoint deplyoments that reside on the same server as workflow.

I have a sharepoint365 site that I am trying to connect to, using the workflow script activity.  I can create a script that uses the Sharepoint online DLL to accomplish the create list item, delete list item functions.

I can install the DLL on our workflow server and then get the script to work, but my question is, should I even try to make it work?  Do we know for sure that this wouldn't work?
