Laserifiche Mobile App Maps

asked on April 4, 2019

I was wondering if there is any documentation on Laserfiche Mobile's map feature and how it works with forms Geo Location. I am currently working on an project where forestry department users fills out an site survey on a tract of land for planning controlled burns. How does the geo location field in forms work with the map feature in LF Mobile. I want to see some reference of these forms placed on the map based one the geoloation tagging from the submitted form. Any help would be appreciated. Jsummers@choctawnation.com

A user would fill out a form and enter a value into the geolocation field on the form. This geolocation field could use the current location of the device, or the user could enter whatever coordinates they'd like. Once the form is submitted, it starts moving along the process. Part of the process should be a save to repository service task where the form will be converted into a PDF and saved into your repository. As part of this configuration, you can save the geolocation data entered on the form to the Location field of the newly created PDF in the repository. This will allow you to view and search for the saved form using the Maps feature in mobile.
