Laserfiche Workflow HTTP Web Request and Infinite Campus

Has anyone in the group gotten the Workflow Web Request and Form Post activities to work with the Infinite Campus API? We can get PowerShell and a web browser to produce JSON from Infinite Campus, but we can't figure out how to get Infinite Campus set up as a Web Service.

When I set up the Web service in Workflow Administration Console I get back an error that the underlying connection was closed.

I am assuming you would need to build a Data Zone and access rights in IC before you can post from an external source.  I would look into the method that the FDF PDFs use to post the fillable information of those PDFs into IC associated with the student's records.  I know it uses embedded javascript (Save button) for this purpose with an associated person id and source refid embedded in the fields it passes to the pdf when it is opened.  I have never tried this but it is where I would start.

Kip,

I believe my colleague here at Gordon Flesch already has this set up. We have the account and secret key set up for us. Otherwise I'd assume he couldn't have gotten his Powershell script to extract the JSON from Infinite Campus. 

Thanks for the hint about the PDF forms. I wasn't familiar with the FDF PDFs. I'll save others the Google search in case they need this:
