Exporting list to a csv

Laserfiche Version 10 Search and Retrieval

We just migrated from Laserfiche 9.2 to 10.3 last month.  In the old version we could export the metadata in a list or search results to a csv. We used that extensively and cannot seem to be able to do it any longer. Creating a report does not give us the formatting we need to make the data useable.

To download reports in CSV format, select "Text" for the Report Type:

It should keep the selection of the last option you chose so you don't have to change to "text" each time. 

 

There is also an option to generate a .xlsx file if you want to take advantage of nicer formatting in Excel:

Also, it was previously called Export, but is now called Download.  That one tripped me up, as well!
