Modify template name automatically updates related workflow

Hello,

When updating a template name, Laserfiche automatically updates items in the repository assigned that template with the new name.  However, you must go back into workflows that use that template name and update them all accordingly.  It would be great if the admin console pushed the template name update to workflow.  If there is some solution to this problem I am not aware of, great, please share!  If not, please consider this a feature request.

Immediately updating workflows is not necessary. Workflow matches fields and templates by name first and tries by ID if the name is not found.

I don't know if we are discussing the same issue.  For example, if I have a conditional decision in a workflow based on "FIELD NAME" = "yes", then I go and change the "FIELD NAME" to actually be called "FIELD NAME - TEST" in the admin console, the workflow will give me this error, "Could not find the field specified, or the field is not part of the specified template. [9016]"  

Are you saying that workflow shouldn't have to be updated based on the scenario I described above?  Or are you describing some other scenario?  Thanks.

Sorry about that. Assign Fields and Retrieve Fields will do the ID matching. But you are correct, conditions do not.
