Microsoft AutoSave feature - allow background saves

Issue: 

Installing Laserfiche 10.3.1 or 10.2 unchecks the "Allow background saves" (File>Options>Advance>Save) and disables the AutoSave toggle. If manually checked with Laserfiche installed, settings are not retained. If Laserfiche is uninstalled, the settings option remain checked.

This behavior has only been noticed with Microsoft Word.

Laserfiche 10.4.1 is released.  We are testing it and it seems to be working.

This was a bug in 10.3 and 10.4 and it was addressed for 10.4.1.

Is it possible to do an in place upgrade of LFDS  10.0.0.270 to LFDS 10.4.1?

According to support, we need to upgrade our environment to 10.4...

 

No hotfix! Upgrade LFDS, App servers and clients to 10.4

Hi Cedric

Do you know if LF put out a bulletin on this. I have a customer with the same issue using 10.3. If they uninstall Windows Client it works fine.

Yes, upgrading does resolve the matter but users would have to toggle MS "Allow background saves"
