How can you limit the number of items in a collection dynamically from a form field?

Is there a way to set the Collection options Range of Sets Max from a form field? 

If I have a field named "FieldNumber" and I want the Input#cNumberSetsMax to be set by the field named "FieldNumber" so that it can be set by the form.

You would need to do it with JavaScript. I don't believe there is any built-in functionality for this.

Has a script been written for this? I have looked but no luck, yet.
