Not enough to notice. IIRC it's within 2-3%

Performance is close, but... I have had more "hard to detect" issues with ODBC than direct connections because ODBC adds that extra layer.

I'm not sure it would really be a problem in Forms, but I've tested them side-by-side in Workflow and I've seen ODBC come back with "no results" when a direct connection would correctly generate an error.
