Question

Move save as draft button to action button area on user task step

asked on March 5, 2019

Hello,

We have a process where we take our starting form and create a "Review" of that form as the next user task. What we do is autoload the next user task and display the form only. What we want to do is have the Save as Draft button show at the bottom of this review form with the other action buttons. Is this possible as long as the "Enable Save as Draft" option is enabled? Would we need to create an HTML button or can we enable one of the 3 action buttons and override them to be the call for the Save as Draft button?

Thanks in advance!

If you use the sub-option to "Only display the form", Forms doesn't load any of the toolbar buttons like Save as Draft, Reassign, Modify Due Date... If you want the Save as Draft button to appear in the toolbar, I would recommend deselecting the "Only display the form" option so the tool bar loads with the user task.

Hi Alex,

Just wondering if you find a way to get the Save as a draft button as the bottom of the form in the user task. As we are using Laserfiche mobile, it would be quite convenient.

Thanks !
