Hello,
We quite exclusively use offline forms for 'out-in-the-field' work, though devices keep their data radio active for near real-time sync/upload anyway. We've had the experience where for some reason the offline forms won't jump to the server, and end up in drafts, then disappear from the 'outbox'. Compounding the issue, the drafts folder then ends up with more copies than were ever submitted, duplicates or so among them. Where there were hundreds of submissions, enters into thousand plus territory, which will quickly become unmanageable if having to go through all drafts manually, checking for duplicate records before submitting.
A possible cause from observation may have been that the initial form retrieved on that device had an issue in the initial download that 'corrupted' it, compared to the fine-functioning forms on the multiple other devices we use. Threw up field errors when going back into withheld forms, but permitted a 'submit' initially.
I don't suppose there's a solution for somehow 'cleaning' the drafts folder with comparative syncing, uploading and flushing? As it is, it doesn't look to be an option without enacting the 'Submit' inside each. Even an export of form field meta/data would be useful.
Versions 10.3.1, avante, android app, haven't jumped to 10.4 just yet on devices or on premises.
Thanks.
