Somehow I accidentally looped a task (see attached with arrow indicating the loop). I tried deleting the task so I could re add it but I couldn't. It would just continue to say "Saving" for hours. I tried deleting the attached comment and saving the process and it would also indicate "Saving" for hours. I tried deleting the paths to and from the task and then I could save the process. I also had no problems moving the task or comment somewhere else on the process canvas and being able to save it.

Any ideas on how to delete the task and actually be able to save it?

How do you stop a loop from happening?

What is the purpose of this kind of loop?

Are there any issues with having a hanging task with no path in or out of it? Will that affect the ability of the process to move forward and complete?
