Quality of Documents Deteriorating when moved from Quick Fields to Repository

Hi all,

 My users of Quick Fields are experiencing an issue when they are moving documents over to our repository.  The documents appear to be fine when uploaded to Quick Fields, but when they are moved over to the repository, they loose their quality, and are extremely difficult to read. I have minimal experience with Quick Fields, and I have tinkered with the settings in there, but have had no luck.  Any suggestions?

The following additional information would be helpful in identifying the issue.

  1. Are the documents being converted from electronic files to Laserfiche pages, or are they coming in as standard LF documents and being saved the same way?
  2. Are you performing any image enhancement activities?

 

In theory, it should come out the same as it went in unless you're doing some kind of conversion or cleanup process that would actually change the image.

My understanding is the  user is pulling in both electronic copies and paper copies into Quick Fields.  They are automatically moved to the repository as part of a work flow.  There are no image enhancements being performed.
