Weblink 9 password reset invalid object identifier

I have a customer that is still on LF 9 and not ready to upgrade.  In WebLink 9.0.1.275, when a user password has expired and they are prompted to input a new password, they are receiving error "Invalid object identifier" when they try to change the password.

Any ideas on how to fix this without upgrading?

We're having a customer experience the same issue.  Was there ever a resolution for this?
