Self Enrollment?

Hi,

I can recall hearing about a self enrollment feature at Empower - i.e. external users or contractors can create a Laserfiche or Forms user account without any involvement from the client IT dept.

I'm guessing we could allocate a maximum number of licenses/users that can be assigned in this way.

Is this on the roadmap, or even possibly currently?

It is on our roadmap and we are designing the feature now, so I'd love to have more details about your request if you can share.

Can you tell me more about the scenario you hope to address with self-registration?

Hi Brianna,

The specific scenario here is a client works with intermediaries who they wish to make form submissions. They want that comfort factor that they must login to access the forms system, but also want the ability to save the form as a draft as in many cases they are several pages long. For those reasons the Forms portal isn't suitable so in order to reduce the admin overhead in creating user accounts for those intermediaries, they would benefit from a self enrollment feature.

I believe this was shown in the Coming Attractions course with @████████. I do not believe it is out yet, but will appear somewhere down the road.
