Workflow 10.4 configuration manager-Server Configuration Error

asked on February 15, 2019

Hello,

This is an FYI for anyone who is updating LF to 10.4.

I just updated a customer's LF System from 10.3.1 to 10.4.

With the release of 10.4, we know we can update WF as there is a 10.4 module now.

After I upgraded the customer WF module to 10.4, I ran the Configuration Manager to update the Server and Subscriber pieces.

Towards the end of the Server config, I received two error messages:
"Cannot Create a file when that File already exists"

"Manually rename or delete the file 'Laserfiche.Workflow.Service.exe.8.3.config'"

When you click OK to move past the message, you get the Configuration Completed Successfully message, which is a false message, as the server module still shows that you need to update it.

I did go ahead and delete the file the error message stated and re-ran the config and it completed successfully with no error.

Error Messages attached.

Hi All,

Had similar issue here too, but ended up removing the file mentioned "Laserfiche.Workflow.Service.exe.83.config" in the Workflow directory under the Windows Structure and that fixed the issue.

Hope that helps,

Ziad
