Add LF groups to Forms teams

I am trying to minimize the management of Forms and its teams, but I cannot find a way to add LF groups to the Teams.

Is this possible?  If so, how do I do it?  When I try, all I am given the option for are users (no groups).

If it is not currently possible, why not?

This is not currently possible, but I've asked about it multiple times at Empower, and during some of the webinars, and they've said it is on their radar. No timeline unfortunately.

I haven't implemented anything yet, but I've done basic testing for a process to sync AD groups with Forms Teams. However, it requires directly updating the Forms database so it isn't ideal.

We are aware of the use case + request and have it marked as high-value. We are looking for the best way to bring this feature to you as soon as possible. We don't yet have a target release date.

In talking to some of the engineers about this, I did mention the process I've been researching and I'm more than happy to share what I've found if it helps speed up the process. Things get more complex when you factor in roles, managers, admins, etc., but the basic mapping is relatively straightforward from a db perspective. In my test case, I didn't include team managers or admins, but I did map job titles to roles using the values from AD.

With Forms 11 Update 2(https://support.laserfiche.com/kb/1014352/list-of-changes-for-laserfiche-forms-11-update-2), you can add LF/LFDS group to team and the users in the group will be automatically synchronized so the users from the group can participant in the team as get email notification when task is assigned to the team, take team tasks etc.

I'm getting into that same configuration issue where I have some of my largest customers who need to either assign AD groups to Teams or LFDS Groups to Teams.

They regularly need to update/Add/Remove users in Teams and they were looking to reduce their configuration steps by only making their changes into the AD or in LFDS groups. They find it time consuming to also go in Forms updating members manually into every Forms teams

Can Laserfiche give us a feedback on this request?

Would be great to be able to sync an LFDS group with a Team.

This feature is under implementation, it will be available in the next update of Forms 11 which is targeted to be released early next year.
