standard scanning only works as administrator

I have a client that has a VDI environment. Within the VDI users can only scan in basic mode, and not standard mode. 

 

However, if you log into laserfiche as repository admin, then you are able to scan in standard mode.

 

The same users, can and have scanned in standard before outside of the VDI environment, so permissions are not an issue here. 

 

Has any one had an issue such as this?

Is this through the desktop or web client? Are you saying that the users don't see the prompt to choose between Basic and Standard? Or is if that when they choose Standard, Scanning does not open?

It's probably best that you take this issue to Tech Support for better investigation.

Desktop client, within the VDI

 

Users can select standard scanning at scanning start. And select their scanner, drivers, and other drop downs as normal. However, when they hit scan, the application just spins and it says 0 pages scanned, 0 pages discovered at the bottom in the log field. 

 

The same user can then log in to a non VDI, and scan without issues. On the VDI, we can log the user out of Laserfiche, log in as admin, and then scan with no issues.
