New Features from Empower 2019

Many of our users are excited about the Secure File Sharing as well as the new Home Page for on premise systems.  I believe these were both features for future releases but don't see them on the product road map.  Is there a time frame for their availability yet?

Hi Jen,

As we transition past Empower and the 10.4 release, we're working on getting the external roadmap finalized and ready to publish, it's just taking a little time. Our current intent is to have Secure File Sharing available for both Laserfiche Cloud and On-premises systems by the end of the year. The first iteration of the homepage will be available on Laserfiche Cloud in a couple months, but I don't have a specific date for on-premises support on that one just yet. Hopefully more info soon!

This functionality will be quite helpful in gaining user adoption in my organization.

Has Secure File Share been released for on prem clients yet?

It is scheduled for the first half of 2021: https://www.laserfiche.com/solution-provider-portal/Post/product-information/product-roadmap. Direct Share (as we are calling it now) will be an example of "hybrid" functionality. Direct Share itself will continue to run entirely in the cloud, and self-hosted users will be able to configure their web client instances to send documents to it.
