Unable to find user's username / name configuration in the Admin Console

This client has users who's Name is exactly the same as their Username. I am trying to correct their Name to show their correct full name, but when I open the properties of the user account in the Administration Console I just see the field for Name but no Username. How do I change their name without changing their username?

I don't work with Laserfiche Users often so I have never run into this.

When you log into your Forms account, you see your username at the top right corner. If you click that and go to account, you can update your display name which is how your user will be displayed in Forms. Is that what you are looking for?

There is no front-end admin control for this in the UI. Users must go and change this for themselves.

For repository users (managed and created at the repository level), there is not a separate "name" field from the username. It sounds like this is the user type you are working with.

If you are referring to Laserfiche users (created and primarily managed Laserfiche Directory Server), you need to go into the Laserfiche Directory Server administration to modify their name. Laserfiche users can have first name and last name separate from the username.

Someone found a way to set a Name for a Repository User that is different from their Username. I can not figure out how they did this, but there must be a way! In the Admin console it shows the Name field as epoole which is how they login, but they have a different value for Name of lpoole. I would like to do this with all of our users, so that we can set their Full Name to be their Name, and their login name to be their Username.

Yes, it is the named user configuration page in Forms. These are users created in the Admin Console as Repository Users.
