How can other users see my starred documents

I have starred several documents to draw attention to them.  However, when others log in they cannot see the stars.  Is there a setting to allow them to be seen?  They see the documents just fine; just not the stars.

Starred entries are specific and private to each user.  If there is a collection of documents you want to share with users, a folder of shortcuts would be one way to do it.
