Laserfiche Connector - no value in application for a token

Hello,

I have a couple of LF Connector profiles setup for our Budget Adjustments and they don't work when a token is set for a field that is blank.  Is there any way to configure Connector to accept blank fields?  This data is very useful to us when it is present (most of the time) and we prefer to keep it in the profiles if possible.  Thanks!

Hi Sarah,

 

It depends on the Laserfiche Server version. Laserfiche Server 10.2.1 or later supports it.

Hello Qinmei,

We are on 10.3 across the board and the profiles were created using LFC 10.3.  I've tried finding a solution in the Connector documentation and Laserfiche Answers to no avail so far, and I'm hopeful to hear it's possible.  Unfortunately, it isn't straight-forward if supported in 10.3.

Hi Sarah,

 

I might misunderstand before. The field you mentioned is from Budget Adjustments application? (I thought it is Laserfiche fields). If it is from the application, what do you mean "don't work when a token is set for a field that is blank"? Is there any error when you create a profile for it or run it?

Hello Qinmei,

Basically, I'm capturing fields on a page in our ERP.  When all captured fields contain a value, everything works fine.  However, when a captured field is blank, we get an error.  I'm attaching a snip of the error.  Thanks!

When creating profile with defining the token for the field, can it test successfully with it?
