Is there a setting on the search entries activity that enables one to search for entries based on templates?

There is no activity called "search entries" in the cloud version of Workflow at this time. If you're referring to Find Entries, then, no, it does not have options to filter by template.

Is there a time frame for when the Search Repository activity will be available for the Cloud Process Automation?

We are still looking into how we can offer this activity in the Cloud. Can you describe your use case, please? (What is this workflow expected to do, how many results do your searches return, etc).
