empower 2019 BeachCity repository not opening

asked on January 31, 2019 Show version history

Testing the virtual machine before the conference and I am unable to open the "BeachCity" repository.  It has worked at least once but now it won't open on any of the laptops we are taking to the conference.  Any thoughts?  I checked services and everything seems to be running.

I did do the "move" vs "copy" for the VM.

I get an operation timeout error (784) and the following details.  Am I panicking too soon?

Hi David,

Can you provide more details on how you are opening the repository?

Can you check if your SQL Server service is running within the VM? Sometimes the service will stop in the VM on occasion but usually does fine after being started again:
