Classify email from data in subject line

Our client wants to use Import Agent to automatically ingest emails from a project@abcdef.com

We would like to automatically classify and store based on a 7 digit number in the email subject line

 

Has anyone done this?

I have done something similar with the Email Archiver component of Import Agent. All you have to do is configure it to use a regular expression to find the 7 digit number in the Subject.

 

Also, use the Email template to fill in the email details like this...

 

Then you can use a Workflow to retrieve the field values and classify and file according to the 7 digit number.
