remove workflow web service reference

I exported workflows from one site and imported them into another. I then edited each workflow and selected the Web Service reference for the new site and saved the change. After all the workflows were updated to use the web service for the new site, I opened the Workflow Admin Console and tried to delete the web service reference that had been imported with the original workflow. But it will not delete and states that it is still linked to the workflows. How do you remove the link between the Workflow to the web service(s) that it no longer uses?

Never mind.... I found a solution. Here is what I did

Using the Workflow Administration Console, I opened the Workflow version history and delete the previous version. Then I checked the Linked Objects to make sure that the workflow did not reference the old web service. Once I did all of the workflows that I moved, there were no more workflows linked to the original web Service and I could delete it.
