Question

Laserfiche Windows Client and TLS 1.2

asked on January 14, 2019

Our network only allows connections via TLS 1.2. The Laserfiche Windows client connects fine on Windows 10 but it doesn't work with Windows 7. I've tried enabling Schannel protocols and enabling the SchUseStrongCrypto key in the registry. I have also enabled TLS in the client as per the instructions in the Admin Guide. Running it under Wireshark shows that it's trying TLS 1.0 and then SSL 3.0. Is there something else that needs to be enabled for this to work? I'm using version 10.3.1.

Thanks.

The LF windows client uses WinHTTP for communication, this registry update might help.
