Question

Can the Subscription Process User view Operational Reports?

asked on January 10, 2019

I understand from this post that Process Users can "Create and view reports".  However, I want to know specifically if they can view the Operational Reports, not just the Custom Reports.  Thank you!

The Process User license is the equivalent of a fully licensed user in Forms plus a read-only user in the repository. As long as the process user is given enough security rights (process admin, business manager) to the process, they will be allowed to see the operational reports.

Does the same thing apply to Participant Users, Community Users, and Education Users subscription licenses?

Yes they are all kind of the same thing, just have different prices depending on who is accessing the system.

Just wanted to double check since he specifically said "Process user license".

Ah! Sorry misread what you posted, no a process user is slightly different. They can create and manage processes in forms, whereas a participant license can simply participate in a process (approve/deny etc.). Both have read-only repository access also.

Process user = Full Forms user + Read-only Repository user

The rest of the user licenses you mentioned above only have Participant User licenses in Forms.

Hi Shelby,

I would think that the ability to 'Create and View Reports', would include all reports by default unless explicitally mentioned.

Interesting question though!

Process Admin and Business Managers are the only ones that can share and view the Operational report (see help file).

I think this is more on Process users as a license, rather than Forms roles. Process users are a new type of licensing on subscription.

Thanks for the clarification. I misread that. I'll see what I can find.
