Using Forms Externally via Mobile App

Good morning,


I have the Mobile App configured and am able to use it while I am on site. The problem is that I can't access from outside of our network. We have public forms that are available when offsite. Am I missing something in the configuration?

I'm pretty sure you would need an externally available mobile application server. A public Forms site is accessible via a browser, but the app provides access to more than just Forms so I'm pretty sure it needs to have a public-facing instance to work from outside.

We have two separate servers; one non-public facing with the repository and another public facing for forms. Does this mean the mobile app should be installed on the public facing server instead?

I would say yes, but if you need repository access there might be additional things required since I think it might piggyback on the web client.
