Drop-down/Lookup Typing Speed

Hi,

In Forms drop-down/lookup fields is it possible to modify the length of time the user has to search for values in the list?

For example. If I was searching for the word "Laserfiche" in a drop-down list and I pause at "La" then continue typing "ser" the drop-down list sometimes starts searching for values starting with"Ser..." !

The functionality of the single-line fields with lookup works better but we're moving away from these fields as users tend to type incorrect values.

We can't add the data-validation option on the form as some of the single-line fields we have allow incorrect values.

Has there been any progress on this issue? When using the latest full Laserfiche client on Windows 10, the dropdown metadata fields will only go to the first character. No matter how quickly you type you can't get it to filter down to an entry by typing 2 or more characters. On the web client, everything works fine. Is there a setting that can be adjusted. This only seems to be a recent development. We aren't sure if it linked to Windows 10 or newer versions of the Laserfiche client. It is a huge problem for a few of our users.
