When I first started using Laserfiche, I made the mistake of clicking the "Don't ask me again" option on the below image, and then clicked "No". Unfortunately, now I have every single file that I open from Laserfiche saved in "My Laserfiche Docs" and I have to go back and delete them every now and then (and I probably open about 20 or so documents in a day). This is inconvenient, because sometimes I have a file checked out that I want to leave checked out for a few days. I have Googled this and searched it on this forum, but cannot figure out how to change it (or at least get that box to come up again). Thanks in advance for any help.
Question
Question
How do you change what happens with local copy of checked out doc?
Answer
Hi Kristy,
You can achieve same also in Laserfiche Web Access.
Navigate to 'Options' -> Reset -> Restore Default Settings
Thanks.
Hope this helps you out.
Cheers,
Mahesh.

Hi Kristy,
You can do same by going to the Laserfiche Client;
Tools -> Options -> Reset -> Prompts : Click on "Reset" button to display the message box again.
Hi Mahesh,
Thank you for your suggestion. I did go and try that, but unfortunately it did not work. I think because the options above do not deal directly with the temporary folder. I would think that it was something related to the web browser, except as you can see from the snip that I posted, it is a message from the Software. I appreciate your suggestion, and I learned something new regardless.
Cheers, Kristy
This worked, thank you Mahesh!
Much appreciated, Kristy :)
Hello,
Would it be a way to set up this option to No (always delete the local copy) for all the repository users ? So this windows never pops up.
I had a look on the forum but did not find mention of something similar.
Thanks
