Web Client Search Syntax failing in WebLink

asked on November 30, 2018

Hello,

We have a client that would like to be able to have users search for a document and have it pull up in their WebLink portal, but the search syntax (that works with the Web Client) isn't working with WebLink.

They are looking to find out how to write the Advanced search syntax in WebLink that will work.

The syntax that works with the Web Client is in the screenshot below:

Neither web product actually interprets the query, they both just pass it on to lfs, so it should definitely be possible to make it work. If you are passing it via url you'll need to url encode it.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for the response. They're actually trying to use that search through Connector.  Does Connector require the search to be url encoded?
