Snapshot printer drivers

Hello,

 

Is there anyway to get the Printer Drivers for Snapshot install?

 

We have a customer who has installed the LF Client with Snapshot, but the generate page hangs trying to complete.

 

In troubleshooting, we went into Printers/Scanners to look at the Printer Properties for the LF Snapshot and when we open it up, we get a pop-up stating "The LF Snapshot Driver 1328 printer driver is not installed on this computer". We click yes to install but it does not point us to a location that has the driver.

 

We have run Repair and Uninstall/Reinstall of the LF Client with no luck.

Hi Jeff, 

Is it possible that the shared printer service was installed when you want to use a local Snapshot printer? This can cause issues depending on the type of Windows machine (Server vs Client OS) due to how Windows handles printer drivers. https://www.laserfiche.com/support/webhelp/Laserfiche/10/en-US/administration/#../Subsystems/LFAdmin/Content/overview_configuring.htm and some of the nearby pages discuss this a bit.
