Date/time out of range. [9170] when doing a search

When a search is done on a few documents I get the error message "Date/time out of range. [9170]"

When clicking on help I get the result:

Date/Time out of range.

This documentation is specific to version 10.

 

Is there a solution available to repairing the documents that are producing this error message?

Hi Duane,

 

What version of LF is this? This was a known issue back on V10.2.1.

So if I am understanding correctly, the linked update that you are pointing me to should correct the problem.

Hi all.

Has this bug come back in newer versions? I'm on the folliwing :

  • Laserfiche Web Client = 10.4 (10.4.2.214)
  • Laserfiche Repository Access = 10.4.2.92

 

 

Other weird behaviour:

  1. Changing the above to 'The past 1 days' (the only change) does perform the search, but is yielding very strange results: I get about 17 entries, only some of which have been created today.
  2. Similary changing to 'The past 1 months' also runs the search, but I get only 2 entries, when quite clearly I should be getting more results than the seach above!
  3. Other combinations of [n] weeks, months or years may or may not work... but all seem to yield incorrect results.

Do I need to re-index, or is this a bug again?

Are you using dd/MM/yyyy as your date format?

Hi Miruna - yes, we're in NZ so all dates are set to NZ Region which is dd/MM/yyyy.

As an update - this issue appears to be resolved by updating to LF11.
