Workflow Instances in Created Status

Hello,

We have several thousand workflow instances in the Created status. I am wondering if it is ok to clean them up by terminating them. There is no entry id associated with them. What does the created status mean? Are they in queue? Do they affect performance? As this is production environment, by terminating I want to make sure the entries are not affected.

Where are you seeing the "Created" status? I don't think I've ever seen that in the Workflow Status column, and the documentation only indicates Active, Completed, and Terminated as valid statuses.

Oh, my mistake. I forgot that the three top level statuses map to various other statuses that can show up.

The documentation indicates that created is when the instance is first started. This should be before any activities are run. I think you'll be safe in this case.
