LF Admin Console-User showing Inactive longer than Repository Setting for Logout settings

Hello,

 

We have a customer who has set the Logout Automatically Setting in the Repository Settings for After 60 minutes of Inactivity.

 

They are seeing users, who are logged into the Laserfiche Thick Clients, showing inactive for longer than the logout setting.  I was shown one user who has been inactive for more than 3 hours.

 

These are Full Users.

 

Why would this be?

This post might shed some light on things.

Basically, Laserfiche takes a cautious approach to disconnecting inactive users because, as an example, waiting for a long operation like a briefcase export could "look" the same as inactivity.

Makes total sense as they are importing large document files that can take a few hours per block.
