What is the correct way to add an active directory group of computers to LFDS?

I have an active directory group that sync and automatically add licenses to users.  If I add a device to that same group, the device appears in Accounts > Users list and consumes a license, but it doesn't behave like a licensed device.

Currently, LFDS does not support providing device license to a group of machines based on their AD membership: you will need to add each machine under the "named devices" tab.

Could you explain more about your scenario/why you want to manage the devices using an AD group? Do you have a very large number of named devices?

It isn't a hardship for us, only about 35 workstation licenses.  We just love managing everything with AD memberships.  We do it with users, so it seemed the next logical step was to also do it for workstations.  Thanks for the official answer!
