Copy all folders to backup drive on server?

I have attempted to do a complete folder copy of all our clients folder by exporting the main folder with all sub-folders following the export process listed in help sections. It always locks up and fails. Can anyone suggest a faster and more proficient way to do this??

Are you doing this for the purpose of backing up the repository?

If that's the case, I suggest reading over the guidance in the documentation. If you have additional questions feel free to update your post. Also, there is a lot of good advice here on Answers.

If you have another scenario in mind, please elaborate.

We will no longer be using LaserFiche and I need to move the data to our server.

Maybe somebody else has a better solution, but a custom SDK script might be the answer here. You can customize it the way you want, and build in batching, retry, and resume features.
