Question

Am I able to create two columns in Forms?

asked on November 8, 2018

At the moment everything is just on top of each other and it's pretty inefficient use of space.

For example Staff ID and Member # could sit right next to each other. I've tried making this with the table function but for some reason when I do that the look up rules won't pull from our database.

This is a commonly asked question.  Search for inline-block for lots of examples about formatting fields and making them look nice.

I ran into this the other day. Where a form was using a table to set the fields side by side, but the lookups configured did nothing.

It is because the lookup is confused as to which row from the table it should use, you know that row 1 is all that will ever be populated, but the system does not know that.

It would be nice to have a single line table added to the form for this specific purpose, so that lookups are still valid because they know that there is only 1 row to pull from.
