Changing text to click through to Forms Submission

asked on November 7, 2018 Show version history

Hi there,

I was wondering if it is possible to change the text on the URL link you get when you tick the email notification on a forms task.

Right now it looks like the only option is to keep it as "Click here to open this task in Forms" but the customer would like to customise this to their own wording but as far as I can tell this just gets added to every email at the bottom rather than being editable.

In Forms 10.4, we will be releasing a small feature that will allow you to customize the email links that are sent out with a user task. When configuring your user task email, you'll be able to insert a token that will generate a link to the user task. You can also use the HTML editor to format the URL however you'd like with the format of Link Text

Finally, there will be an option to show or hide that default task link you mention above.

The tokens support a link to the user task for desktop and a link to the user task on LF App if the email is opened on a mobile device.
