Forms greyed out in Laserfiche Mobile

Hi, 

We have setup Public Address for our Laserfiche/Forms server which is one server, however when i login on the Mobile application it is not showing me any forms and it only shows the Repository Documents. 

 

 

I have checked my configuration and i have tried with the Internal Address on the internal network then i have tried the external address on the internal and external network. 

 

Which ports needs to be open in order for Mobile to see Laserfiche Forms?

 

If i login through my web browser on Phone, Tablet or PC then i am able to see the forms and start a process internally and externally.

Hi Gert,

 

Can you clarify if it worked internally using the app?

 

Things to check, have you configured the forms server in the mobile app configuration utility?

 

 

Also when logging into the app, you should be able to select the forms server as part of logging in, do you see this?

 

Everything runs on port 80 or 443 if you're using SSL, it would be good to get this working internally before trying to setup externally.

Hi Chris, 

I have check the configuration, i have used specified forms and mobile configuration with internal details to test, i can see it is pointing to the correct address when logging into the app. I have tried the external address as well with SSL enabled on Forms Config as well as Mobile App Config. It is not showing the forms and it is greyed out on the mobile app, when i click on it then it asks me to login again which it seems logs in successfully, but then it is still greyed out. Web client has exactly the same configuration and it is working for without any issues.

Hi Gert,

 

I would remove external access from the equation for now, let's get the internal side working first.

 

So you can load forms from a mobile device in a browser internally? It just doesn't work in the app?

Hi Chris,

 

Exactly that yes, browser on mobile or iPad works fine. On the app I am not able to see any forms.

Hi Gert,

 

That's seriously strange, as we know the fundamentals work and it's not a firewall issue as you're able to connect.

 

I would raise a case through your VAR who can raise a case with Laserfiche on this. Sounds like you'll need to do some more digging on this (which may include sensetive things you don't want on a public forum!)

I just ran into this, turned out if I logged into mobile as user@domain.com forms was greyed out, but if I logged as just user or domain\user forms was not greyed out.  We noted this on both the iOS app and the Windows 'mobile' app.
