Populate metadata based on radio button selection

I have a field which is set up with radio button selections.  How can I map the value selection to the metadata when the form is saved to the repository?  The field value is blank when I view the metadata in the repository.

Hi Blia

You need to assign a value to the radio button selection and this is what will be sent to the metadata field

What if the metadata field is a pick list type?  I did what you suggested and it's not setting the value in the metadata field.  Is it because it's a pick list type?
