Group Watermarks and Web Link

When using Group Watermarks (a feature of Advanced Audit Trail) and Web Link, are the watermarks automatically applied to documents downloaded in Weblink?  Or does Weblink require you to additionally set watermarks through the Web Link Designer?  The situation is one where we have several databases on one server, but only want to use Group Watermarks on one repository, using one specific instance (dbid) of Web Link.

Hi Bill,

Defined Group Watermarks will always apply. The additional WebLink watermark option is for situations where you want to apply items to everything coming from WebLink regardless of whether you have group watermarks and is actually a WebLink feature, not Audit Trail - this comes up at times since it can be open to public users to access and print.

Thanks, Justin -  To be clear, if we have defined a Group Watermark for all users, and then also defined a Web Link watermark, anyone using Web Link will see both watermarks?
