Question

LF Forms Portal

asked on October 25, 2018

I have created a business process and created forms within.  I have set the access rights to Public.  However when I try to access the url from outside my network, I get a 404 Not Found error.  Can someone point me in the direction to resolve.  I do have the LF Forms Portal license and have upgraded to Rio.

We ran into a similar issue yesterday while setting up and testing our Forms Portal with our VAR. In layman’s terms have your computer techs made the website visible to the outside world? That might be a first step.

Also, we found that our Windows domain accounts can’t log into Forms through our DMZ server but other accounts can.

Thank you for your reply.  The solution was very simple!  Type the URL in correctly!  I learned to change the url to something that makes sense not the assigned "\Y0gIy".

John,

Logging into a public-facing Forms instance with Windows domain accounts is possible as long as everything is configured correctly.

Our Public/DMZ instance of Forms will allow domain accounts to log in, they just need to manually enter their credentials with the "domain\username" format.
