Has anyone played with placement of re-captcha? 

I have several big business processes that do a lot of lookups but they are public so I would like to protect our data by doing re-captcha first to deter robots and hackers from trying too many times. Before going and developing something I want to check if anyone else has the same concerns I do and if they got something like this working?
