Searching in laserfiche

I have pdf files which were transferred in to Laserfiche with Generate Searchabe Text and Generate Laserfiche pages checked. The files say they are OCR, but when I try to search text for something I know is in the document (typed, not handwritten), it does not find it. What am I missing?

Hi Joni,

 

Sometimes the text catalogue can become corrupt, it would be worth re-indexing your repository.

 

To do this, open the Laserfiche Administration console, login to the repository as an admin user, and go to the index node. The right click>All Tasks>Index>Reindex the Whole Repository.

 

Once this has completed. Check and test again.
