Is there a way to restart a suspended task in Laserfiche Forms version 10.3.1.635? Before the update, we were able to restart a suspended task but now it doesn't seem like it's an option anymore. Or am I wrong?

Why was the task suspended? The ability to restart a suspended task is based on the reason it was suspended. For certain issues with the process, the instance will be automatically restarted once the problem has been resolved.
There was a mistake in the database with one of our user accounts. How long does it take effect after the change has been made?
My forms suspend sometimes because the submitter misspelled an email address which is necessary for approvals. It would be great if we could items like this.
Armando, is the task an email service task? I'm assuming you have an email service task sending to a variable, which was replaced by the incorrect email address. If this is the case, could you try adding the correct email address to that email service task and saving the process? This should cause the instance to retry and successfully be able to send the email to the correct address. Once the task goes through, you can remove the correct email from the email service task.
Otherwise, can you open a support case so we can help move this instance along?
We will look to address this pain point in an upcoming release.
No, our forms are routed based off a selection of a campus and are assigned to the associated Laserfiche account.
Is the task assigned to a bad username? Can you reassign the task to someone else, then back to the correct user? What was the mistake in the database?
You may want to open a support case so we can take a look at what has happened.
Yes, it was a bad username. My question, after fixing the error, does the instance(s) that were suspended restart on their own and how long will it take?
If the task got assigned to an invalid user, the task would be suspended, but the task should allow you to reassign it from the monitor section. If the task doesn't allow you to reassign it, go into the process designer and check the user task configuration to see if reassigning the task is allowed. If it is not allowed, I would turn reassigning on, reassign the task to the correct user, then turn it off again.
If this doesn't solve your problem you'll have to open a support case so we can take a look.
